Thanks for the great podcast. I recently discovered your blog after being pointed here by Dean Soto.
For seven years, I was a seminarian and religious brother. Now I’m a lawyer and many would be surprised to find out how many elements of religious life, when applied to a secular career, actually make your work easier. It is important to stay on a schedule and live by a “rule” even if it is necessarily more flexible when you are living in the world.
Thanks again for the insight into linking prayer and work. It’s absolutely essential.

Aaron, glad you enjoyed it! It is amazing how many links there are between official religious life and the daily grind.

What is the Spirituality of Work?
The Spirituality of Work is an ancient phrase used to describe the holy side of everyday life. It emphasizes the space in all of our lives where mundane activity makes room for God.
Productivity and Spirituality
Working hard goes hand in hand with being a good steward. You can be productive at work and very spiritual at the same time. Because actions speak louder than words, our time spent working is God's opportunity to change the world for the better.
About Me
